## Sample 360 videos When viewing videos shot with a 360 camera, you can drag your mouse to pan around and up or down. Try that on National Geographic's several videos filmed in 360: ' * 360° Great Hammerhead Shark Encounter * 360° Antarctica - Unexpected Snow * Glow Worm Caves of New Zealand in 360° Others: * Experience the Blue Angels in 360-degree video (USA Today) * 360°, Angel Falls, Venezuela. ## Recording using 360 cameras Using a camera that records in 360 degree panorama can revolutionize video recording becuase it enables people to concentrate on the conversation rather than framing the shot. Because someone can stand anywhere and still be recorded, framing and zooming can now occur in post-production. This also means subjects can look into the eyes of the cameraman rather than staring into the camera. Additionally, now different speakers in the video and be positioned on the same spot on the screen. And viewers also get an immersive feel as well (and look around during boring parts). ## Choice of cameras Because the objective is to upload to YouTube, I don't need 5.2K/4K resolution, HDR, or super-accurate colors. Nor do I need waterproofing, geolocation tagging, fine audio. Low-light capability can be useful at parties. Image stabilization is helpful. I'll be fine with 3840x1920@30fps for talking videos and 2560x1280@60fps for Hyperlapse videos (where people move around quickly). The convenience of the workflow is important to save time. The GoPro Fusion's workflow is cumbersome. I use an iPhoneX and MacBookPro, so the Insta360 ONE (out 2017) is a natural choice for me. It stores image data in Adobe DNG Raw format, so it can be viewed right away without additional processing. * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aojyLct7wk Insta360 One Review & Basic Tutorial * Insta360 ONE review in-depth with tutorial guide: the best 360 camera for learning to shoot in 360 [31:01] * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXKsDv8LzR8 [11:02]

The camera has a (flimsy) standard ¼” screw hole for 3rd-party mounts and accessories. I got the bundle to experiment. Having the camera on the chest strap would lose the 360 recording. salesforce-exhibit-headmount-123825.png The headstrap doesn't seem as "professional" as the stick, which extends from 11 inches to 46 inches, so I can hold it in my hand at eye level, or higher. The Smatree Q3 Telescoping Selfie Stick with Tripod Stand only extends 36 inches (not eye level). I need a camera that can shoot pretty much continuously. It comes with a 4GB card, but I got a 64GB. Its exFat format can't take one larger one than that. So streaming capability would help to reduce memory overload. It can stream live to periscope.com. And connection to a big battery pack is a must. ## Editing 360 media Adobe Premiere can be used for editing 360 videos *
